Kanta Barrios
| Kanta Barrios is our VP of Marketing and Content Development at Inner Splendor Media. She is also an experienced yoga instructor. Kanta has spent 12 years studying yoga and philosophy with her main teacher, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda, in Siddha Yoga Meditation ashrams in India and the United States. Over the years, she has additionally studied with some of the world's leading yoga teachers: Sri Pattabhi Jois, Dharma Mittra, Shiva Rea and John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga, amongst others. This has given Kanta solid expertise in a wide range of yoga practices from many different schools.
This background, combined with her professional experiences in the world of film and global traveling, has made Kanta a sophisticated, graceful teacher committed to making yoga accessible to a wide range of students. Her students appreciate her down-to-earth and light approach and her ability to make the exploration and practice of yoga fun and relevant.
